Dihydrotestosterone

Definition

Dihydrotestosterone: A potent androgenic metabolite of TESTOSTERONE. DihydroTESTOSTERONE (DHT) is generated by a 5-alpha reduction of TESTOSTERONE. Unlike TESTOSTERONE, DHT cannot be aromatized to ESTRADIOL therefore DHT is considered a pure androgenic steroid.
